the triangle is wearing a top hat…kinda like abraham lincoln
it was the abe lincoln wax statue that got melted, right?

-When Dipper first found the electrical box to open the hatch and find the book, the first switch he flipped did not work. If you look closely beforehand, one of two wires leading away from the box is cut. That may be why it didn’t work, rather than the idea I’ve seen floating around that it activated something somewhere else.
HMMMM. But then I wonder what that would do if it functioned right? :O It’s a pretty mysterious contraption.
I have to wonder if there’s more of them hidden in the forest…
