The Peaks Twins are two minor characters that appear in the Next Time On Gravity Falls reel made alongside the Unaired Pilot. Not much is known about them besides the fact they have psychic abilities and speak in unison.
History[]
The twins' first appearance happens where they ask Dipper and Mabel if as twins, they've ever had a psychic connection, followed by showing them their ability to do so by speaking in unison. Dipper responds by saying they, "both practically finish each other's-" and then nudges Mabel, expecting her to reply by saying sentences. Instead she responds by saying sandwiches, to which Dipper facepalms.
In the Pitch Bible to Gravity Falls, the twins are formally revealed and named. They were to have been part of an episode called "Thtupid Thursday." The description of it was as follows...
Dipper is frustrated with his sister- they can never communicate! His frustration gets even worse with the arrival of the Peaks Twins, two pale, children-of-the-corn like supertwins who finish each others sentences and laugh in unison. When Dipper asks the twins what their secret is, they explain that all twins have psychic powers, and they vow to teach Dipper & Mabel to harness their twinly skills. But when Dipper & Mabel do finally learn how to read each other's minds, they realize that getting inside the mind of your sibling can be a nightmare!
It's likely that if this episode was made, it would follow the Peaks Twins trying to help Dipper and Mabel harness their psychic abilities and read each other's minds.
Personality[]
The Peaks Twins appear to have a very close bond with each other. They are able to communicate to each other telepathically and can teach this ability to other twins. They both talk in unison and finish each other's sentences.
Appearance[]
Both twins are blonde and wear similar attire. The boy twin wears a blue shirt and pants with a white shirt below it and brown belts and shoes, while the girl twin wears a blue dress with white frills and a white bow. She also has a blue bow on her head along with white socks and brown shoes.

- The twins are likely inspired by the Grady sisters; two creepy twins that appear in Stephen King's The Shining.
- Their names almost most likely are a nod to the series Twin Peaks, which heavily inspired aspects of Gravity Falls, given their name is the show's name but the words reversed.
- As the twins' one possible episode appearance was in the pitch bible, it is unknown if it was going to be a planned episode or just an idea made to sell the show.
- It's possible they may have made a formal appearance in the scrapped gum commercial episode, where Dipper and Mabel would have attended a twin convention and met other twins.
