The Juke Joint was Grunkle Stan's favorite 50's themed 1970's diner, and he enjoyed dining and dancing there with his ex-girlfriend, Carla "Hot Pants" McCorkle.
History
The history of the Juke Joint has not been revealed in the series fully. The only known history of the place is that it was constructed sometime in the mid-late 60's or early 70's. Any other history regarding the Juke Joint is that Grunkle Stan began to hang out here at an unknown time and either met Carla at the joint or knew her outside of the building.
Menu Items
Though the full amount of the fare served at the Juke Joint is unknown, miscellaneous people are seen to be dining on hamburgers, such as the male person in the photo above. Also in the photo, fries are present on the male person's plate, indicating another food item. A female person is drinking a milkshake as also seen in the photo. In the middle left, it is possible to see another male person drinking a beverage, possibly coffee.
Appearance
The appearance of the Juke Joint is simpler than most modern construction, considering its earlier construction date. There are tables lined on both the west and east sides of the restaurant. Another addition is a bar, where drinks and food are served. Condiment containers are located on top of the bar as well. There is a jukebox located in the mid-east of the restaurant, hence the name of the restaurant. A private table is located near the jukebox with two seats. The walls are seen, covered with posters, indicating other possible menu items, and a neon sign that reads "The Juke Joint" is hanging from the wall. An unknown door is located beside the jukebox as well. A stage is located in the southeast of the restaurant, where music or dancing is performed.
In "Boyz Crazy"
In its first episode appearance, during Grunkle Stan's flashback, a younger Stan is leaning on the jukebox, nodding his head to the beat of the ambiance. Carla comes over, and they both engage in 50's themed dance style. The camera gently pans toward the stage, where a hippie-like male is playing a song on his guitar, as revealed to be used for hypnotism. This song lures Carla to this hippie-like male, where Stan claims that Carla's hot pants turns into bell-bottoms. At the end of the flashback, both Carla and the hippie male fly off into the air, leaving behind a trail of rainbow colors, which Stans explains as his flashback having a little hallucination at the end, yet the gist is still clear.
