"The potion that Mabel was originally going to steal was yellow, not black." That's not true. it looks like that, but if you look close you see that she's actually looking at the black potion. You can tell because she's holding it on its side when they do the close-up.OnlyOnTuesdays88 talk 14:55, February 17, 2015 (UTC)
Some of these goof don't seem like goofs. Wendy not hearing Dipper and Mabel even though they're a few feet a part, the golfcart not being dented after it gets crashed, fireflies not being native to Oregon. It's a cartoon. Some of that stuff especially the first one is just ignored and you're just supposed to go with it. OnlyOnTuesdays88 talk 20:43, February 22, 2015 (UTC)
To clarify for those who put things like this on the article: a good rule for whether or not it is a goof is this: imagine you ask a writer on the show about the goof. Would they say "oops" or would they be able to explain it? For example, if you asked a writer about the Wendy having two left arms for a frame goof, they would say "Oops." But if you asked about the golf cart being dented, they would give some explanation ("It wasn't drawn to that level of detail" etc.) In other words, a goof is a mistake, not anything that couldn't happen in real life.
