Summerween is a holiday celebrated only in the town of Gravity Falls, Oregon on June 22. It is celebrated because the residents of Gravity Falls love Halloween so much that they celebrate it twice a year. They use jack-o-melons instead of jack-o-lanterns, since pumpkins are not ripe during the summer.

Summerween Activities

Everyone in Gravity Falls celebrates the holiday like it's Halloween. They light up their jack-o-melons and dress in costumes, then they give out the candy to trick-or-treaters.

History

Mabel and Dipper were nervous to go at first but then grew very excited to go trick-or-treating for their last year. But Wendy invited Dipper to Tambry's party and he said he wasn't trick-or-treating so he could hang out with her. Mabel, Dipper, Soos, Candy and Grenda were attacked by the Summerween Trickster and had to collect 500 peices of candy by the time the last jack-o-melon went out.

Dipper refused to go trick or treating because he was "sick" but after a while, Mabel convinced him to put on his costume and get the most candy. After the group collects 499 peices, Mabel overhears Dipper talking to Wendy and realises that he was planing on going to a party. She was very upset with him and wouldn't talk to him.

Dipper put the wheelburrow behind some bushes, unknowingly leting it fall into the creek behind the bushes. The trickster corners everyone in the summerween store and eats Soos. Soos eats the Summerween trickster from the inside, revealing that the summerween trickster is made up of unwanted candy.
