Soos' Stan Fiction is a series of 3 short cardboard animated segments shown in 2017 between episodes of Gravity Falls for the Remember the Falls Marathon to mark the one year anniversary of the show ending.

They involve Soos describing fan fiction stories that he'd like to write about Stan and Ford while they are off exploring the world and having great adventures. The stories he describes are shown with cardboard cutouts and backgrounds. The entire skit is voiced by Soos. Though not canon, they take place after the events of "Weirdmageddon 3: Take Back The Falls", as Soos is now the new manager of the Mystery Shack.

Cardboard artist and animator Kiel Johnson created the shorts which were written by Ruckus Jones and filmed by Adam Coleman. [1]

Synopsis[]

In the first segment, Soos talks about what he thinks Stan and Ford may be up to on their adventures. He imagines that after saving the world they would go on vacation, until Ford would show up and say they need to go to Antarctica to save the world again. They would then have to defeat a time eating monster, by trapping it in a red "Phantom Crystal of Infinity."[2]

In segment two, Soos imagines the Stan bros are ghost detectives in New York. In it there's a secret apartment within a train station built by a reclusive railway guy in the 1920's. In the present day the station is now haunted by the ghost of the man and Stan and Ford arrive to defeat him. But then the hipster station manager says he's planning to turn the station into a club. Ford finds the idea terrible and use Summerween masks to scare him.[3]

In the third and final segment, Soos theorizes what the Axolotl in the fish tank in the living room may be and where it came from. He believes Ford found it in the woods one day and took it home to protect it from monsters. Soos thinks the Axolotl would make a great attraction for the Mystery Shack and looks up to see if it is a salamander or a fish. He learns Axolotl's are from Mexico and is amazed to learn they can regrow body parts. The segment ends with Soos telling the viewers that sour cream isn't very popular in Mexico.[4]
