The Smarticle Accelerator is a machine created by "Smart Waddles" during the "Abaconings" segment in "Little Gift Shop of Horrors." He built it so that he could become smart enough to know the answers to the mysteries of the universe.

The machine's name is a pun on "particle accelerator."

History[]

The Smarticle Accelerator was created by Waddles in order to increase his already-enhanced intelligence to the point of knowing the answers to life itself. After the machine is finished, Waddles almost increases his brain power to the point of no return, but decides to turn himself back into an average pig after Mabel convinces him to. After Waddles is returned to his normal state, the machine collapses and is destroyed, much to Dipper's dismay.

Appearance[]

It appears to be a large helmet-like machine with many wires and tubes coming off of it. It is made out of several random objects and is being held up by multiple legs attached to the floor. Bags of potatoes act as batteries for the machine, though Waddles also designed an arm for grabbing some of them (and feeding them to him) which protrudes from the left side of the machine.

The bottom of the machine has a slot for people to go into in order to start the brain-enhancement process. The machine has buttons for making someone smarter and making someone dumber. It also has a meter on the side to indicate the intelligence level of the current user of the machine. The color resembles the blue of the portal.
