Shmeb-You-Unlocked is an official Gravity Falls website that can be accessed through deciphering a series of codes in the graphic novel Lost Legends. In it can be found a series of 10 books with photos of cards that contain information about characters both from the show and exclusive to the book, as well as further comics and artwork made alongside Lost Legends.[1]
Decoding the Ciphers[]
On page 6; the table of contents of Lost Legends, is a small code (LVRMO-BOM-JVOSTCID). The code is written in Vigenère cipher, meaning a key is needed to solve it. Across the book are the 4 parts of the code:
- On page 10 is a code written in Bill's Symbol Substitution Cipher, which decodes to say "TO FIND."
- On page 51 is a line of Morse code which reads, "A SPIDER."
- On page 95 is another code written in Bill's Symbol Substitution Cipher, which decodes to say, "SEARCH."
- The final code on page 118 is again in Bill's Symbol Substitution Cipher and decodes to say, "THE WEB."
The full key reads to say "TOFINDASPIDERSEARCHTHEWEB." Using it to decode the cipher, the code deciphers to read, "Shmeb-You-Unlocked." Using that name, one can then locate the website of the same name, accessing all the secrets within it.
The Books[]
Of the 10 books, 8 contain cards on which further information can be found about various characters that were in the book or items used in it. These range from characters that were in the show itself like Pacifica Northwest, to exclusive to the book characters like Anti-Mabel. The other 2 books contain artwork and an original comic page in which Gravity Falls character parody iconic real world comic franchises.
All but the two comic books contain a code that is written in Vigenère cipher. The key to decode these ciphers can be found in the Gravity Falls: The Complete Series, which was released on the same day in 2018 as Lost Legends. The code is found on an Easter Egg clip of Bill Cipher talking backwards. When played back, it tells the viewers that he has a key for them to use to decipher an unknown code. The key is "Inside Job." Using that key, one can decode all the ciphers found on the website. The books go as followed.

ARCHENEMY: Xgqrthx the Vowelless, a dark warlock who got in a fight with Shmebulock over whose beard was grayer and cursed him to only speak his own name. The curse can only be defeated if Shmebulock casts the Orb of Elvynmore into the Chasm of Garlock, but the orb is super heavy, and, like, the Chasm of Garlock is a major commute.

In the last comic, Dipper says a code; "FLSKHU OLYHV!" This can be decoded with Caesar to say "CIPHER LIVES."
Book 10 - The President's Key[]

ORIGIN: Created in 1797 by Washington as a way to hide all his scandalous etchings of women's ankles from King George. Was passed down from president to president until it was swallowed by Quentin Trembley "to preserve its power" and coughed up for Dipper Pines 150 years later.
TASTES LIKE: Licking a grandpa
CAN UNLOCK: The Washington Monument, which is actually a giant music box and spins and plays "Yankee Doodle" when you crank it.
The Lincoln Memorial, under which are hidden the bones of Linclops, the hundred-foot cyclops with a saddle on it that Abe Lincoln rode into battle during the Civil War.
The President's Cabinet, a chest buried under the White House containing the never-before-seen "Final Draft of the Constitution," which contains the Kevinth Amendment (granting special rights to anyone named Kevin) and instates a prohibition on sideburns.
