From June 20th to 23rd, 2016, the account posted a series of tweets about Journal 3.

In February 2018, the account posted a few tweets about Gravity Falls: Lost Legends.
The Book of Bill[]
From December 14th to December 15th, 2023, the Oregon Parks Department Twitter/X account made several new posts.
Leadup[]
Countdown[]
On July 12th, 2024, the account came active with a new post. Then, starting on July 14th and ending on July 19th, an image was posted daily featuring a countdown until the book's release. Around this time, a TikTok account also appeared.
The majority of the images for the countdown were made by Eduardo Valdés-Hevia 👁️ on Twitter/X, who also helped with illustrations in the book itself.[1]
Discovering The Book of Bill[]
Starting on July 20th, the account started posting several images and videos of Gus Burnside discovering The Book of Bill and attempting to destroy it.
Gus Burnside's disappearance[]
On July 22nd, near the end of the day, a final post was posted with no text, seemingly just darkness. On July 24th, a Missing poster for Gus Burnside was also posted.

June 2016[]
Prior to the release of tweets related to Journal 3, the account posted several normal images of wildlife and the outdoors, as well as retweeting a tweet by Sequoia & Kings Cyn and posting several text-only tweets.
After the first 3 images of the Journal (and a photo of Gus Burnside at a tree log) were posted, a few non-book related posts also showed up.
December 2023[]
On December 15th, 2023, the account posted several Book of Bill teasers followed by two posts with images that weren't related to the book and an image of Gus holding up a triangle. (see above)
