Michael Rianda is a former writer and creative director for Gravity Falls. He also voiced the characters Lee, Thompson, and Mr. Poolcheck. He worked on Gravity Falls for about two and a half years and left around March 2013,[1] though he still continued to consult on the series after his departure.[2]

- According to Alex Hirsch, the "Lamby Lamby Dance" that Dipper performs in "The Inconveniencing" is based on Michael's childhood experiences of being dressed up like a lamb by his sister and being forced to dance.[3]
