Luigi, I was willing to give her a second chance, but that was when she didn't demote and block yet another admin and then proceed to make up lies about and try to demote one of our bureaucrats. I can honestly say now that I don't want her in a position of power in the wiki if she's going to treat people like this for not letting her do what she wants 100% of the time.
Peridot has demoted and blocked me from the Steven Universe wiki because I "threatened her" to listen to let the Awesome Steven admin vote continue, and to allow us to have a discussion to demote Bill Cipher. I have pics of the entire conversation. Sorry, the conversation is backwards on imgur! Please unban me, this is ridiculous. http://imgur.com/Gzu6pUa,rWBgTDs,Xqb0ydX,vk6tBGa,ctRLOTv,YXuckML,GvwtNf1#6
You should not have use that kind of power to possibly global ban her, and I think that it was indeed a form of threatening. I will most likely shorten it to five days tomorrow (since I'm kind of tired now and gotta publish some edits for the staff and front pages first).
SL! I know I shouldn't have, but she was literally threatening to demote me for trying to tell her to listen to the users! Please be reasonable here! I promise if you unban me, I won't quarrel with her, I won't even talk to her, but fyi her behavior can be considered a globally ban-able offense.
Hey SL, I just wanted to leave you this message about the SU wiki on here because I'll be talking about the Gravity Falls wiki and I don't want people getting upset for "advertising"
Anyways, the thing is this- the Steven Universe Wiki needs more chat mods. Here, we keep 6-8 chat mods on duty and we do this through an election system. Our system, which has been praised by wikia staff members is simple and easy and I was hoping I could help you and Killer introduce it on the Steven Universe wiki.
Two notes before I explain,
I am not asking to be a chat mod, there are more qualified users than me to be a chat mod on the SU wiki.
I am presenting an undeniable problem. The SU wiki is too popular to only have 2 chat moderators, plus one who you are about to ban. Also, yesterday I was on chat with 18 people! I was the only member of the staff there!!! It was crazy.
Now to explain the system- the premise is that you have to continue to be a good chat moderator to retain your position.
How it works: Every 4 months we hold what we call an "Election Season"
Then the votes are counted and we have 6-8 new moderators, easy! Also, generally Election Seasons are a very popular time on the wiki and the users enjoy the healthy competition. Often afterwards, some of the re-elected mods (not everyone gets re-elected and we often have new ones every 4 months) will host a training session- http://gravityfalls.wikia.com/wiki/Thread:108939
This system works really well here and I hope you will consider implementing this on the SU wiki!
Thank you for the suggestion. The way you do it is pretty sweet, however I am still really debating whether we should even have a democratic voting system for staff members in the first place, with two incidents happening.
I do know that we need more chat mods, and I was considering just hiring users in private message based off of yes and no without any other voting going on.
