Idk how active Peacexfreedom is, but I'm relatively experienced, having admined on at least seven different wikis that were not founded by myself.
If you want me to, you can tell me the cartoon and I could take you through steps and give you tips for creating a more attractive wiki.
Also, create a blog asking for information on Community Central. That should help.
There's nothing you can really do about "recruiting experienced wiki builders for help," as those kinds of users are far and few between, and will probably only edit on wikis that interest them. The trick is to build your wiki yourself or with a friend for some time, and focus on making it attractive and detailed. Also, advertise it on Community Central, and you should be good!
Just so you know, a user by the name of Zim the coolest cool cool has vandalized multiple pages across this wiki with vulgar profanity and incoherent nonsense. You might wanna block them before they strike again.
So I added a new video in the wiki so that I could put it in a blog post, but the search function for putting an existing video in wouldn't let me find this one. So I tried putting in the URL, and now the video is on the wiki TWICE. Eventually, I was able to get the original video into the blog post by going into the source option. But I also found out from the community wiki that only an admin can remove a video. So yeah... Any chance you could help with that?
So one of the codes from Lost Legends leads to a website. Each of the other pages on that site features a code. With this in mind, Do you think I should feature these on the book section of the cryptogram page since the link to the website came from the book, change "Home Media" to "Other Media" and feature the codes there, or just make a new section on the cryptogram page altogether?
So I was trying to edit the page for Old Man McGucket, but when I put in a new reference, something is going wrong. I doubled checked, and I'm pretty sure I followed the format. But would you mind taking a look, just in case (you'll should see where once you get to the page)?
