China has been a country that multiple times slowed down it's own progress, on intention. The same happened with the Ottoman and Russian Emire. It is the reason the West managed to keep up. It is because China has been unified for a long time, and the rulers didn't want too much to change in a short time. Therefore, people like COlumbus did not face Zheng He; the government took away Zheng's founding, while COlumbus was supported by a monarchy that was competing with other countries in Europe. Europe's division gave the west the short ooppurtunity to keep up with other countries like China, but that is changing these days, as'slow' China slowly industrializes and becomes the world's most dominant country once again.

At the time when the philosophers (Lao, Sun, and Confucius) xisted, China was NOT unified like you had stated. Other countries have slowed down their own progress as well, and China mainly has only slowed their process thanks to Western and Communist oppression. Other than that, yes, MODERN China has been more unified than other European countries, but the era you had referred to, featuring the philosophers? That was never a united China.
Writer of the wiki wrote: 1. That is true, it was after that,
2. That is not true. The west did not opres china untill like 1800.
3. CHina has been unified since 221 bc again, and even before that it was relatively more unified, but not politically.
Why do you guys think I am talking nonsense, I mean what I say has scientifically been proven.
I'm not arguing with you when you say China was unified since 221 BCE, but I'm arguing with the fact you had stated China was unified DURING the philosophers' time. Also I was most critical about your depiction and information of the philosophers.
HmmmThat could be true, I don't know that much about India form the classical antiquity. But you may not like it but what i have said (about CHina being unified, being 'slow' etc) is something many historians agree on. It is ofcourse not really possible to prove but it is very interesting. I recommend the book guns germs and steel. I can send you the chapter (conclusion of the book) in which this biologist and historian explains what I stated above. It is really short.
Also India well. What is 'India'. I mean the earliest civilisation there was the Harappan-civilisation, which was mostly located in what we now call Pakistan. After that many important 'Indian' empires of kingdoms were located in what we now call North-India. The south was a jungle and very difficult to conquer.
The same counts ofcourse for China, for for a very long time it was waaaaay smaller than how big it is these days.
Sorry man, we're stubborn fuckers. :/ Tbh, though I thought you were a troll before, DWAS shouldn't have blocked you without proof. If I mention anything they will get pissy at me. I'd suggest complaining to Community Central.
We have a convention for naming files. They should start with S followed by the season number, e followed by the episode number in that season, and then a descriptive title in lower case. Example: S1e9 waddles on back.png would be an image from Season 1 Episode 9 (The Time Traveler's Pig) and it shows Waddles on his back.
For animated shorts, please start with Short, followed by the sequential number in which the short airs followed by a descriptive title in lower case. Example: 'Short2 dipper dancing.png.
We have categories like Category:Mabel images for characters and Category:S1e9 images for episodes. Please use Category:Short images for images from the animated shorts. Not all characters have categories for images, but all episodes do.
We do not allow fanart, edits, or non-Gravity Falls images on this wiki.
If you could use the appropriate naming format and add the appropriate categories to the images you upload in the future, it would be most helpful. Thank you!
