I noticed that whenever you've put the season in a character's history, you put it as "Season One" or "Season Two" instead of "Season 1" or "Season 2". It seems a bit out of place to put the word of the number. Just asking, for what reason do you do it like that?
I think that gramatically, single digit numbers are meant to be written out, and double, triple, and so on are numerically typed. Maybe I'm wrong, but it's just habitual at this point. I don't see why it's that big of a deal.
Its just I'm putting "Season 1" on pages and your putting "Season One" on others. It seems out of place for some characters to get it put that way and the others put another way. So we need to come an compromise of how it will be displayed. Normally nobody would put it your way. Even the page for S2 isn't written that way. I'm just saying on a matter of being practical, the way your doing it seems different which isn't always a bad thing but I can't say it seems good to be different on this one. Truth is I was just gonna edit your edits to put "Season 1" but I don't want to seem rude. If u could message again so I can here your further stance on the subject I'd appreciate it.
I'm really fine with either one, so if it means that much to you, I'll just put the headers numerically from now on. If you would like to edit the ones I've done so far go for it, there isn't a lot of them to my knowledge.
Actually I'm going to remove the headers of S1 and S2 as it was not agreed upon at least by not a consensual number. Plus its not like the seasons differ from each other. If each season was of a different year or main villain plot it seems necessary but its a continuous story building up from the previous seasons. We also have the Sightings section to give you all the data for episodes characters are in and more.
The headers are there to direct people to the history they desire, it's especially effective in characters such as Dipper and Mabel who have a long history section. They also assist in dividing what is considered background prior to the actual episodes. The headers were already existent when I joined the wiki, and in keeping with consistency with all the other characters, should be there. There is no justification for their removal.
Not that I think about your right. But for characters only appearing in one season don't need a header for that season as the only reason we are putting the season heading is to differ the information from other seasons.
That's fair, but the consistency would be nice if you think about it. However, characters with backgrounds ("Early Life" is the header for that section) should still get a season 1 or 2 header as it distinguishes what has occurred in the show and what hasn't. I think it is best we continue this conversation in private messaging.
Ahaha, thanks. I realized that I should be contributing more to the wiki and getting myself involved with the community more often than I have been, as I've mainly been inactive on the site and only using it for reference.
