Matt Braly (born November 8, 1988) is a former director and storyboard artist for Gravity Falls. He worked as a storyboard artist for the first season and started working as a director in the second season.
Biopraphy[]
Braly graduated from the California Institute of Arts with a major in character animation. He interned at Pixar and had a job as a story artist at DreamWorks. He joined Disney Television Animation in 2011, as part of Gravity Falls crew. He was also a storyboard artist for Steven Universe and Turbo, as well as a storyboard revisionist on Billy Dilley's Super-Duper Subterranean Summer.
After Gravity Falls finished, Braly went on to become a director on Big City Greens. Braly is the creator and executive producer of the Disney animated series Amphibia.
After the production of Amphibia ended, Braly left Disney after years of collaboration.[1]

Trivia[]
- Braly did a Gravity Falls AMA on Reddit.[2] on saturday, June 20th 2015.
- He won the 2016 Annie Award for Outstanding Achievement, Directing in an Animated TV/Broadcast Production for the episode "Northwest Mansion Mystery."[3]
- He worked together with Hirsch for a special homage episode to Gravity Falls in the second season of Amphibia, called "Wax Museum", featured Hirsch as Mr. Ponds (the curator) and Frog Soos, both inspired on Stan Pines and Soos in an Amphibia version of the Mystery Shack[4].
- Kristen Schaal and Jason Ritter (the respective voice actors of Mabel and Dipper) would later guest star in the Amphibia episodes "The Plantars Check In" and "The Core & The King", respectively.
- Matt made a bunch of farewell cards for members of the show crew to bid farewell to them.
