The Lava Lamp Guy is an interdimensional criminal[1] and one of Bill Cipher's friends who appears during the events of Weirdmageddon.
History
Background
Eons before the events of the series the lava lamp shaped creature indulged in criminal activities before being called together by Bill Cipher, along with 8 Ball, Amorphous Shape, Hectorgon, Keyhole, Kryptos, Paci-Fire, Pyronica, Teeth, and Zanthar.[2]
Season 2
The lava lamp shaped creature is first seen in "Weirdmageddon Part 1." The being is among Bill's friends the former takes them to the Fearamid. It is partying and playing "spin the person" when Time Baby and the Time Paradox Avoidance Enforcement Squadron interrupt their party.
In "Weirdmageddon 2: Escape From Reality," it is seen again dancing in the Fearamid, before Bill announces that they are taking "chaos worldwide."
Finally, in "Weirdmageddon 3: Take Back The Falls," it's sucked back by the portal along with the rest of the creatures from the Nightmare Realm.
Appearance
It resembles a cylindrical lava lamp full of yellow liquid and orange bubbles. It has two dark orange and red lava blobs shaped like eyes and a large jagged opening under them that looks like a mouth. The top looks like a black bowler hat with a dark red band around it.

Trivia
- It is the only minion of Bill Cipher that isn't introduced. This is likely because it did not appear until later on, after the other minions had long been present.
- Unlike the majority of the Henchmaniacs, the Lava lamp shaped creature was not involved in the fight against the Shacktron.
- Therefore, he's one of the few Henchmaniacs, without a "darker form".
- Apparently his name is "Lava Lamp Guy", according to a deleted scene from Weirdmageddon 2: Escape From Reality. This is the only time, he is be refered by a name. (Gravity Falls: The Complete Series)
- According in Gravity Falls: The Complete Series, in some deleted scenes of Weirdmageddon and Weirdmageddon 2: Escape From Reality, he had some concept designs, in both of them, he was planned to wear a fez, instead of a bowler hat:
- In Weirdmageddon he was planned to be larger (about Zanthar's size) and more bulkier, with dot-eyes, instead of a bowler hat, he wore a fez.
- In Weirdmageddon 2: Escape From Reality he is redesigned to look close to his final design, being smaller and more cilindrical, still he wore a fez, instead of a bowler hat.
- He's the only Henchmaniac (ignoring Zanthar and 8 Ball, because they don't appear in this scene), that is smiling when Weirdmageddon ends.
- Like Teeth and Hectorgon, he has been seen with and without aura.
