Lava Lamp is an interdimensional criminal from an unknown dimension[1] who is a member of Bill Cipher's gang.
History[]
Background[]
Eons before the events of the series, Lava Lamp indulged in criminal activities before being called together by Bill Cipher, along with the rest of his gang.[2]
Season 2[]
Lava Lamp is first seen in "Weirdmageddon Part 1." He and the others watch Bill turn Ford into a golden statue and taunt Dipper before burning the Journals. He's later seen at Bill's V.I.P party at the Fearamid, partying and playing "spin the person" until Time Baby and the Time Paradox Avoidance Enforcement Squadron interrupt the party. To the demons' delight, Bill vaporizes Time Baby and his squadron. The party then continues as Lava Lamp and the other demons rejoice over Time Baby's presumed death.
In "Weirdmageddon 2: Escape From Reality," he is seen again dancing in the Fearamid, before Bill announces that they are spreading Weirdmageddon across the globe.
Finally, in "Weirdmageddon 3: Take Back The Falls," he is sucked back into the Nightmare Realm along with his comrades.
Appearance[]
He resembles a cylindrical lava lamp full of yellow liquid and orange bubbles. He has two dark orange and red lava blobs shaped like eyes and a large jagged opening under them that looks like a mouth. The top looks like a black bowler hat with a red band around it.

Trivia[]
- He is the only minion of Bill Cipher that isn't introduced. This is likely because he did not appear until later on, after the other minions had long been present.
- Unlike the majority of the Henchmaniacs, Lava Lamp was not involved in the fight against the Shacktron.
- He's the only Henchmaniac who doesn't appear during the first half of "Weirdmageddon 3".
- His name was thought to be Lava Lamp Guy because he was called Lava Lamp Guy in a deleted scene from "Weirdmageddon 2: Escape From Reality," that appears in the Gravity Falls: The Complete Series Blu-ray set.
- It was later confirmed his name was in fact just Lava Lamp in The Book of Bill.
- In the same scenes, he went through 2 different designs: In "Weirdmageddon Part 1," he was supposed to be a large monster about Zanthar's size, and in "Weirdmageddon 2: Escape From Reality," his design is closer to the final one. Note how in both cases he was planned to wear a fez.
- For some reason during "Weirdmageddon 2: Escape From Reality," he lacks his orange aura, and also he's opaque, when he's supposed to be transparent.
- He is called a "Master of disguise" in the Henchmaniacs page of The Book of Bill.
