Ian Worrel is the former art director for Gravity Falls.

Worell is a graduate of the California Institute of the Arts. In 2012, he began working for Disney on Gravity Falls. Despite the series being his first major piece of work, Worrel was nominated for two Annie Awards in Production Design in an Animated Television or Other Broadcast Venue Production in 2013 and 2016[1]; in 2014, he was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program for his work on the episode "Dreamscaperers." The award was for his work on the animation for the ending credits, which were done in the style of the Twin Peaks' theme song.
