All animation is black magic.
This article contains information on a subject that is not considered canon in the Gravity Falls universe.

Harry Claymore is a former special effects master and claymation animator.

Early life

Proclaimed as a master animator, Claymore utilized black magic to allow his clay figures to animate themselves, thereby greatly decreasing the difficulty of painstakingly moving all the puppets by hand. However, upon the popularization of CGI animation, the creations were driven insane by the public's lack of interest in stop motion animation, enslaving Harry and sending his home into disarray.

Season 2

In the "Little Gift Shop of Horrors" story, "Clay Day", he was enslaved by his clay figures. The Pines family and Soos come to his home to explain to Mabel, who feared claymotion, that it was nothing to be afraid of, only to find him tied up and clay figures walking on their own. He then explains to them about how the clay figures went crazy because of the rising of computer animation, thus having no need for them. Thanks to Mabel, the clay monsters are dealt with.

Harry Claymore appears to be very elderly, as he has gray hair and various wrinkles across his body. He wears a red long-sleeved polo shirt with a pale blue collar tan pants and brown Bermuda shoes.
