The Gravity Falls Maximum Security Prison is the state penitentiary where Gideon Gleeful once resided as an inmate due to Mayor Befufftlefumpter. It is also where he hosts his show Li'l Gideon's Big House! on Gravity Falls Public Access TV. It is where Gideon's men used to reside as well.

Season 1[]

The prison was first seen in "Dreamscaperers," as it flashed on Bill Cipher's body while he was demonstrating to Gideon how he knows many things.

In "TV Shorts 1," the penitentiary is actually seen. It is also revealed to be the location of Gideon Gleeful's incarceration. Gideon hosts a TV show, "Li'l Gideon's Big House!" from here.

Season 2[]

In "Scary-oke," the prison is seen again, this time, shown from the inside as the light from the portal shined through a barred window, awakening Gideon.

In "The Stanchurian Candidate," the prison is seen when Bud Gleeful communicates with Gideon during his mayoral campaign. The prison is also shown during the credits scene, where Gideon took down a poster to reveal a drawing of Bill in his wheel.

In "Weirdmageddon Part 1," a giant Gompers took a bite out of the prison, freeing Gideon and the rest of the prisoners, and crushing the Prison Counselor in the process.

Known inmates[]

About ten prisoners, including Gideon and Ghost-Eyes, escaped during the events of Weirdmageddon and formed the Discount Auto Mart Warriors. Killbone and two other previously-seen inmates were not visible as part of the group, though Killbone appeared again after the events of Weirdmageddon.

There is also a guard named Daniel who Gideon bribes for issues of Preacher's Digest, a lunch lady named Phyllis who Gideon is attracted to, a Prison Counselor who criticizes Gideon, and the Prison Warden who most prisoners seem afraid of.[1]
