David Slack (Born April 18, 1972) was a one time writer for Gravity Falls.


Slack wrote for six years before moving onto prime time. His first professional writing role was given to him by writer Duane Capizzi, who mentored him in the script-writing process.[1]

He has written for various well-known series, including Person of Interest, Law & Order and Teen Titans.

As of 2011, he is currently involved in producing and writing a new science fiction TV series for Syfy called Seeing Things.[2]
