Flying saucer

Oppose — Because, although it may only show up just this once, it has relevance to the show/episode. The floating cliffs have made several appearances, which was created by the UFO. Also, there are codes using Bill's symbol substitution cipher inside (and this is the first time we've seen that cipher used). I would support the information being moved to a page, perhaps, on the unknown extraterrestrials (wherein a subheading would be about their UFO). --Peacexfreedom (talk) 02:43, October 14, 2015 (UTC)

Oppose — This is where the parts for the portal came from and could be the reason for everything in Gravity Falls. Needs more content though. It's existence has been foreshadowed since the first time we saw the cliffs. I found theories and videos about its existence weeks after the show started. I agree with Peacexfreedom. Oppose — It's an epic thing and something unusual in Gravity Falls, which makes its special, it created the portal, it created the cliffs, it's made by ALIENS, there's also a lot of information to write about it, aliens,prison droids, buttons, adhesive, it created Gravity falls!!! Comment — I agree with Hero Fan. People want things that appeared in the journal to be deleted because they want to see the real thing, it's okay, but now some real thing has appeared and its pretty much shown throughout the whole episode and the plot of the episode is pretty much about it and people want it deleted because it only appeared once. WHAT DO YOU WANT PEOPLE!? You want it to be shown in EVERY SINGLE EPISODE!? Also, people took a lot of time and effort to write and type all the information in the page and it's just deleted just like that and then the thing is proven to be very important and appeared again in another episode and you have to create the page again and type all the things again, just sayin' --User: LGQ 14:39, October 21,2015 (UTC)

Comment — I completely agree with you there. I never understood why so many articles are constantly deleted. Yeah, it makes sense if the pages are speculation, completely outdated or simply contain false information, but almost all of the pages deleted here are because they are "too minor". So what? It's not like it'ds taking any space away from the other pages. If anything, it makes the wiki less complete, because some people think that those informations are not interesting enough. Oppose — This is ridiculous. This is a page about a location in Gravity Falls that Dipper and Ford visited to repair the dimensional rift. Not only that, but Ford mentioned he and McGucket visited the UFO for parts for the portal, and people say delete it because it appeared only once, and might not appear again. How many minor things with one (maybe two) appearances have pages here? --Welcome to Gravity Falls 21:19, October 21, 2015 (UTC)

Oppose — I agree with everything LGQ said: this is a relevant LOCATION. We have pages for locations on this wiki. Northwest Manor Bottomless pit (place) Abuelita's house and the flying saucer is far more relevant than a lot of those. Do we want to get rid of those, too? Neutral — I haven't played the game: how major in the game are they? (I notice we have a page for Flying skulls but not Fireflies, which are listed as antagonists in the game) We need to be consistent on what we have a page for. Oppose — They aren't related at all to Arachnimorphs, and are even not in any episode. When you go to the page, you immediatly understand that it's from a game - you can't get confused. Comment — But it's not the same creature, they are only similar in the way that they are spiders. One is an enemy from an online game, the other one creatures that live on Mystery Mountain (at least one does). They are litteraly not the same thing. Hero Fan (talk) 13:45, October 22, 2015 (UTC)

Oppose — lol how are they the SAME!? One is a REAL GIANT SPIDER, and another one are humans who can turn into Humanoid Spiders. Did you see the ones in the game turn into human? Also, Quentin Trembley also said about the Giant Spiders. --LGQ (talk) 14:47, October 22, 2015 (UTC)

Comment — Are all you people who are saying "Copy and paste of a page" even looking at the page? Because the pages are not at all similar, the creatures are not at all confusing or interchangeable. Think about this: humans are more similar to gnomes than giant spiders are to arachnimorphs. Guess we better delete the Gnomes page. Comment — One of them has to go anyway. Because the fact that some people think that Arachnimorphs is a sub-species will cause to much edit wars. Besides they have never appeared in the series. Comment — This is exactly what I mean. The fact that people argue over the edits on a page does not mean that the solution is to delete the page. Think about it: that just makes no sense. We get a ton of edit warring on the List of allusions pages over whether or not something is an allusion. But does that mean we need to delete the page? Of course not! It is still a valuable and informative part of the wiki, and its significance to the series is in no way decreased by people on the Internet having different points of view. The argument that it is too minor is valid (you will notice that my vote is neutral); the argument that the page will cause conflict or is "copy and paste" is not. Oppose — Songs like "Puttin a Rainbow Wig on a Big White Gorrilla" are not nominated for deletion and it is just as short as this one, also may as well put all of the songs on the wiki and so far all of them are, removing this one would'nt be a good idea

Soos' father
