I think it's too much of a stretch.Ā
I think it's too much of a stretch.Ā
No!!! It's a big stretch and we would of probably met her by now
So there could be a character with a different name that was a Mabel clone, for example.
This has caused some confusion. The theory is that Lebam is just the clue to the backwards nature. I think there's a second version of Gravity Falls happening on screen and they're near identical.
It's often assumed that I'm saying the girl's name is Lebam. Her name would be Mabel just the same as her doppelganger except she'd be backwards. (Much like what would happen in our reality if one were to traverse a Mobius strip.)
Let's also consider Hirsch's statement "Mabel's a ham" is likely related to this theory.
I'm pretty sure Lebam isn't an actual thing. There is very little evidence to support this theory, and some of it (the bottle form "The Deep End" was probably just Alex Hirsch trying to stir up the fans in to creating all sorts of far-out conspiracies from a single scene. And look at that. It worked.
Was thinking that too. The whole thing sounds like a real stretch.
Where did Mabel get her suit coat in Boss Mabel?
Why does it look like one of Gideon's blue suit coats?
What "arrangement with Mabel" was Bud Gleeful referring to in Hand That Rocks the Mabel?
In a show riddled with pop culture references, many of which specifically alluding to time travel / doppelganger narritaves, it's a wonder more people don't come to these specific conclusions before the fact.
We're so often surprised by the same storys again and again.
Benjamin Button and Forest Gump are literally scripts written around the same story line.
There are often times two bull symbolic characters. (it seems they're substituting buffalo in this one) Maybe Pacifica is the second bull, but it seems she's a thing in herself, the Pacific Northwest direction. laeving a spot open for the second half of the May Bull aspect.
Mable calling herself Serious in Irrational Treasure alludes to Sirius the Planet which is "opposite" the Pacific Northwest in the sky. This lends to the theory that Pacifica is the llama and the opposite of Mabel. She's cold like ice like winter and Mabel is red like fire like summer.
That is the known well stuff and easy to decode. What made me shift toward a doppelganger theory in this instance is the myriad of backwards message, multiverse, copies, mirrors, reflections, clones, doppelganger, etc clues they put in every episode.
There are backwards messages of every kind, from spoken to written to animation error.
The likelihood of there being backwards people as part of the big plot twist they're inevitably leading up to is higher than just one clue.
I fully expect to see flashbacks of Ford cloning Shmebulock and sawing off Gomper's horn with the saw hanging in his kitchen. 11/13/15 The Sqoou (talk) 10:20, November 13, 2015 (UTC)
I can see how people would believe this theory some of the evidence is pretty convincing. However, we know that twins skip a generation. Stan and Ford are twins than Mabel and dippers mom or dad weren't twins. Mabel and dipper are twins after their grunkles. How could there be triplets? I know, I know in "The Hand That Rocks The Mabel" in the newspaper Mabel is holding hands with Gideon and her sweater has nothing on it. People think it's lebam but it's probably just an animation fluke. They have those all the time, it's not perfect. Also yeah yeah I know sometimes Mabel is up the stairs even if she was last on the stairs first, but it's a cartoon may I remind you. This theory is supported by lots of great sources (clap for you) but it just doesn't seem like Hirsch would do this. I mean it's season 2 episode 19 already, they would have pointed this out because supposedly this is the last season. There also is not a whole bunch of proof just some that get you thinking. Do I believe it? No. Can you? Sure why not, no harm. Remember we are all fans of gravity falls and love to speculate. Nothing wrong with that. Just be nice to each other about it please.

Well it's the end almost, it's obviously not a thing anymore. Lol
Pretty much yep.
