It's Alex...
You know, because Mabel's and Dipper's name share a similarity, and Alexander Graham Bell's ironically deaf wife was called Mabel?
It might not be though, because Mason and Mabel are alot alike. But it could be Alex, though i would doubt it. Like one thing similar to those names are they both start with M and the 2nd letter in them is A. They each are spelled with 5 letters each. I'm thinking it is Mason, but it could be Alex, though i hope to not sound rude, i think the name Mason has a higher chance of being his name. Again, sorry if i sound rude of anything!
If like to point out he said that they share a similarity, but he's not going to say what that similarity is. He didn't say they are spelt similarly, or sound similar. Honestly, something Hirsch would do would be name both Dipper and Mabel after 2 kids from his childhood who were siblings, but I don't know him personally, so I did the second best thing, and looked through famous people called Mabel, both fictional and real, and picked the name related to them that Hirsch would most likely pick. Of course, I could be off on the similarity, and the similarity could be that he got both names from a random name generator, and is just toying with us.
